Topic: Name of Waltz

Hello Mr Karr,
Some time ago, I saw you on a TV interview playing a lovely waltz. I call it the Mark Twain waltz because there was reference to him in that interview. I would love to obtain the music and try to play on piano/violin. A friend and I play at a seniors group now and then and start by playing what we think it is. The notes we play are f# a f# e f# g c# g b g f# g a or something like that. If you could tell me the name of the waltz and if it is on one of your discs etc I would be very appreciative.

Dear Bob,

The only waltz that I can think that it might have been is Valse Miniature by Koussevitzky which was recorded on my CD, The Spirit of Koussevitzky as well as two other CDs. However the notes do not match ones you wrote, so it is a mystery to me. I wish that I had more information.
Sorry,

Gary Karr
